Midweek check-in

Not much new to report, other than some new photos. The one above does a nice job of illustrating how the spaces flow together. (More on Flickr...)
The breakfast room is painted, and the color looks good:

The dropcloths are down, and I got to stand in the shower for the first time since the tile went in. (I love the shampoo niche!) Here's the view:

Updates from this morning's (postponed) weekly status meeting:
- Andrew liked the hardware we'd chosen. We'll go back to Restoration this weekend and pick up the rest.
- Bryan saw all the issues with the paint (before we even mentioned them) and was not happy. He told us he'll take care of it. When we left for work, he was out front of the house on his cell phone, loudly chewing out -someone- (presumably the paint contractor?), complete with gesticulations and pacing. [Good!]
- We talked about needing to cover the top of the french doors on the outside, and didn't really love any of the ideas any of us came up with. Bryan's going to talk to his metal fabricator about some sort of flat-pitched awning. Andrew suggested a simple metal frame with chicken-wire reinforced glass in it. We also have some leads on off-the-shelf options, but they seem rather pricey so far.
- Once we figure out what size we need, Mark is going to give us a quote for building a table for the breakfast room. Ooo! (He also offered to give us a table he has, but we think it's too long...)
