The start of Week 4
No drywall was actually hung yesterday, but at least (most) punch-list items got taken care of, plus a few new bits we weren't expecting.
First off, the old gas pipes are gone from the kitchen. And the pantry/laundry vents have been taken out and (mostly) filled with insulation:

The insulation was taken out of the french door opening-to-be:

The shower light and the fan line up now, and the ducting is in place, both for the BA fan and for the kitchen range hood:


And they finally removed the last bits of drywall in the bathroom:

Andrew guessed yesterday that they'd left them as a modesty panel so that they could keep using the old toilet -- and I think he was right! There certainly was no structural or aesthetic reason. Now the space is clear for the pocket-door frame to go into place -- very exciting.
The appliance order got faxed yesterday. Cameron asked Pat (from BSC) to call to confirm they'd gotten the fax, and he still hasn't gotten a call back. Seriously not impressed...
