Details, details

Cam reminds me that the cabinet bid was actually closer to $11K, plus another $1K for the bench in the breakfast room. But hey, what's a few thou among friends?

Cam met with Mike Boss of Rock & Rose yesterday, and talked about how the yard's progressing. We were a little worried about the trees, partly with good reason.

Apparently, the pekid plum tree is actually quite healty, despite a bacterial infection on its leaves that Mike says is harmless... and won't matter much soon when it loses its leaves for the winter. But the citrus, as we expected, are too close to the fence. We'll take a weekend soon to move them around, before it gets too boggy back there. Mike did a little strategic pruning while he was there, but in general thought that things looked pretty good.
