Let the sunshine in...

I left my phone at home yesterday, so I couldn't download the photos of the work Robin did on Monday.

Ta-dah!



Yesterday, they came back and replaced the header beams that had been removed, then tar-papered and chicken-wired the openings to prepare them for the stucco craftsman (who's coming next Thursday to do the base coat). You can really see the shape of the opening, now:




The porch is cozy now, not claustrophobic. And as a side benefit, the dining room is flooded with sunlight. I love it when a plan comes together. :D

Cam tells me that Robin says the city inspector is coming out tomorrow morning to sign off on the porch.
